I'm amazed house some people can play HalfLife1 for long because playing that for more than two hours makes me want to physically purge. Same with Descent. But it's only with particular games with specific graphics. I don't have that problems with newer games where the graphic is more consistent. I think it's a bad idea if you have strain your eyes. And staring directly at the computer screen for long the eyes don't get to exercise actaully because it's stairing straight without moving in eight directions. I always make sure I have good environment lighting, lower the monitor brightness, and do eyes exercise once a while. Then I can play for a long times without eyes sores. FPS isn't the game for this purpose. Rallying game is also a good eyes exercise especially if you're a good driver and the corners coming up real quick.

Khyber, I agree with you, but calm down a bit. Apple are smart because of that, it is costing them less to produce their computer, but that doesn't mean they won't charge high prices for their computers. "I find it hard to imagine you can come up with twice as many features on your HP when compared to a similar Mac." I always look at PC to have more features than Mac because they are so much more third party hardwares developed for it at a lower cost, and you can buy them from the money saved from not buying a Mac. Personally I don't few much affected from this news since I don't use a Mac. But if these Mac computers becomes available definitely recommend them to family and relative because OSX would serve their purpose and I don't have to fix their computer so often.

Privacy Group Calls Google Latitude a Real 'Danger' 227

CWmike writes "Privacy International is calling Google's new mapping application an 'unnecessary danger' to users' security and privacy. The criticism follows the unveiling this week of Google Latitude, an upgrade to Google Maps that allows people to track the exact location of friends or family through their mobile devices. Google Latitude not only shows the location of friends, but it can also be used to contact them via SMS, Google Talk or Gmail. 'Many people will see Latitude as a cool product, but the reality is that Google has yet again failed to deliver strong privacy and security,' said Simon Davies, director of London-based Privacy International, in a statement. The group's chief concern is that Google Latitude lacks sufficient safeguards to keep someone from surreptitiously opting into the tracking feature on someone else's device."

Damn if everyone have a life goal of that standard I would have much better self esteem. I am sure there will be development of n64 emulator for this thing, but probably not right away since it's difficult to emulate. BTW, this link is where future developed softwares for the Pandora can be downloaded: http://archive.openpandora.org/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi It's offline right now, due to server overload, but should be backup sometime. There isn't anyright now until people begins to receive the device and more softwares can be developed, so I suggest you wait a bit until perhap the second batch in 2009. There are many many emulators for the GP32X devices and many of those are probably going to be ported to the Pandora.
