Allowing one man to do the work unpaid begrudgingly is not what I'd call supporting a platform." What are you talking about? I happen to know several engineers on the Flash Player team at Adobe that currently work on the Linux version. And as far as I know, the upcoming version, FP10, fully supports Linux as well.
