What a dear man he was! I adore his music, such humour.

I've tried to find a decent singer to record his songs that are no longer available in audio format.

With no luck so far. They'd need a great sense of humour to be worthy of the job.

No pay, of course, but a massive audience to get them superb free publicity.

Anybody know any decent singers who might want to do it?

I'm always being sent far too many, on topics I'm interested in. Asking AI to summarise them is HUGELY helpful. And yes, I do sanity check them, to make sure they're at least plausible. It's no guarantee, but as long as I'm not making life changing decisions, I find it very helpful. i.e. the most helpful use of AI I've found yet. As I don't write so much these days. Well, not medium/long form.

To save a few bucks? Except you won't: you'll be converted, and waste far far more buying what the adverts sell. Maybe it's time for an open source TV OS, one based on Android that can be added to a standard set of hardware? That might not be feasible, I'm no expert, but it's a lovely idea.

Very simple: plant hemp as much as possible, everywhere possible. That takes care of nearly everything trees are cut down for. Hemp is perhaps the most useful plant on the planet. e.g. plastics, fuel, clothes, medicine, particle board, hempcrete, cleaning up toxic waste sites. Also, you can grow 4x the biomass as you can with trees. Next question?

Man is fallible. The worst case scenario is pretty bloody bad. Don't we learn anything at all?! Except that we don't learn ... No! We're smarter now, that would never happen!

Why invent new tech? How about STOPPING cutting down trees for short term gain, and long term decline? How about planting hemp all over the world, producing yet more gains in all sorts of related fields? Oh, yes, sorry: profits. Who cares if the earth gets ruined along the way.

That would mean yet another plus for hemp, and one less for oil. I'm no expert, but I've read that hemp could make plastics just as well as oil. Not to mention the hundreds of other uses for hemp.

Agree 100%, as this would mean that there's no point learning openings. Theory will still be important to understand, but plain rote learning could be released. What a waste of time and effort! Fischer was a raving lunatic in many regards, but this idea of his would be wonderful if implemented.
