I have to disagree. Say you have two teams facing off in a contest. An unfair advantage would be letting one team have more members than the other, or allowing them extra time. A fair advantage would be if one team is more athletic or has more star players than the other.

I see that as a big distinction. And you can't say that being a better team is not an advantage - hence, it's a fair advantage.
