Many comments here confirm that there are two types of consumers of news. Those how received news from outlets producing Propaganda, and those who know they must question what is being broadcast or written as news, and verify the facts before accepting...and both are here. If you consume propaganda, you are unlikely to read this post completely, and are likely to assume I'm full of shit. And those who read this in completion, and verify what I've written. So, if you are tempted to stop reading, force yourself, there's a huge fact you are probably not aware of...
qanon has been gone for months now, so I find it interesting so many, liberals almost exclusively, are still talking about it. The same way they are still talking about Trump.
A larger problem is actually that of liberals who follow verifiable propaganda, which is vastly more dangerous than those who they consider misled by what they perceive as conspiracy.
The first thing one must examine before judging those who follow for example qanon, let's call them conspiracy theorists. Our other control group are those who watch main stream media, CNN, MSNBC, FOX...any of them, unaware they are propaganda. The first major difference you will find between the two groups are how they consume news.
Followers of the MSM tend get their news in 140 characters or less...meaning, they tend to assume the content of an article can be understood completely by reading the headline. Before you blow me up, I'll challenge you to get a New York Times read the Headline for the lead story, especially if it slants negative, or reporting on someone with a less than liberal ideology. You will notice that the first couple paragraphs will tend to support the headline, and this is by design. The average person reads less than half of an article. knowing this, the editors of the New York Times often, using crafty verbiage will cite the true facts at the very end of the article. This shields them from being sued for defamation, but the affects of the headline leaves the the perception in those that get their news by headline or twitter feed with a false understanding of what the true facts are...propaganda.
Another example that main stream media is primarily propaganda is rarely seen because one person may watch CNN, another MSNBC, another ABC, etc. People tend to stick with one source, and rarely can the MSNBC person convince the CNN person to switch, and vice versa. In reality, both are being fed the exact same story almost exclusively. And what I'm saying is they are being fed VERBATIM, the same stories.
You will find the anchors on CNN and MSNBC more often than not are reporting the same story in the EXACT SAME WORDS! I often wonder who writes what they are saying because too many are receiving the exact same script.
We all hear an ad on the radio repeat a phone number 3 times, because it's known it will be retained much more than saying it only once.
The technique is attributed to Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels. In reality, Goebbels executed the technique, but his boss is the one that he got it from. It's even in his bosses book, Mein Kampf. If you are not familiar with the book, you may be familiar with the author. He's pretty famous. Adolph Hitler. Please feel free to fact check me, but please avoid the Soros funded sites and just get the book and read it.
now, the Qanon people are quite different. Instead of consuming news from one source, they tend to listen to and read multiple sources.
So, how do they distinguish fact from propaganda you ask. It's really not that difficult, instead of trusting facistbook or twatter or CNN with a piece of information, we resort to looking for and often finding documents in the Public Record that give us the answers.
Since we are in the midst of the Covid "pandemic" here are a few fun facts for you...
If you visit the CDC website, and you look at total deaths from ALL causes, you will find that more people died in 2019 than did in 2020. If we have a "pandemic" then those deaths numbers attributed to Covid, which is actually named SARS-CoV-2, then it should reflect approximately Total Number of Deaths in 2019 PLUS the reported deaths by Covid for example.
Look a bit deeper and you will find that deaths attributed to the common flu are almost non existent compare to every year records were kept.
They say everyone has to take the vaccine to save lives, yet the survival rate for people under 70 runs between 99.97% to 99.94% while over seventy or with pre existing conditions is 94.9% Hardly a reason to vaccinate, and foolish if you are aware that if you catch the virus, you are immune to it when you recover. While the vaccine is always one mutation behind, so the vaccination you take this year is for last years strain.
Media, WHO, CDC..and even PSAs push masks, but if you ask for studies that show empirical evidence that masks work, they can't provide it, I know, I've asked. And here's the kicker, there are a number of studies that say exactly the opposite, that masks cause respiratory infections, and have lasting psychological affects if one is forced to wear masks.
They compare this virus to the Spanish Flu of 1917. In case you didn't know, the first flu vaccination was distributed to stop the Spanish Flu. There is hard evidence on how many were saved by taking the vaccine. This number is 0% were saved by the vaccine. In fact, almost everyone that took the vaccine DIED! To make matters worse, widespread distribution caused what is called a vaccine-induced pandemic. A more modern example is available in India, where the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation managed to lobby the Indian Government to mandate the polio vaccine. Polio was still seen in India, but it wasn't as bad a problem as it would become when the the polio vaccine mandated for everyone actually caused a vaccine induced pandemic.
When I see comments like I'm seeing here, referring to qanon followers as fringe conspiracy theorists by a larger group who primarily consume propaganda news sources, and never bother to check readily available public records to verify for themselves what they are being told. Qanon followers tend to avoid propaganda as much as possible, and check to confirm and verify what they do find before accepting anything as the gospel.
The Smith-Mundt Act which went into effect in 1948 to protect American Citizens from propaganda.
In 2012, we were given the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 by the administration in power. As often is the case, crafty verbiage was used to make the change appealing, but what it did is lift restrictions of propaganda to American Citizens allowing the collapse of a news industry that has always been somewhat bias. And here we are in 2021. Public Records providing overwhelming empirical evidence that masks don't work, and vaccines are ineffective against viruses, and more often than not, more deadly than the disease. There's also evidence of additional side effects connected to vaccines. For example, the current covid vaccines are likely to cause an epidemic that will reduce the birth rate in the United States by causing infertility in girls, and women of child bearing age.
Still, in the real world we see 75% to 90% of people walking around with masks on, even when driving in a car alone, and I've heard many almost begging for for a vaccine that will always be a year behind the current strain of Covid, just another coronavirus like the Common Cold, and the Seasonal Flu.
