I need help with this!

A young explorer found a gold coin that was marked with the date, 6 BC . He was so excited that he ran to the chief explorer showing him the coin. The chief explorer fired him on the spot. Why?

any idea's? i've tried googling. but havent come up with anything yet..

  • Because they wouldn't haved used "6 BC" for a year back then. Naming years like that is a more recent invetion (more recent than 6 BC anyway).
