Photon v. Quantum Torpedoes (Score 1)

I grew up on TNG, and I thought this was quite possibly their best movie yet. I really liked First Contact, but this one had me on the edge of my seat more often. I'm not the most astute watcher, but one of the things I like best about Trek is the fact that they at least try to keep the continuity and physics true. However, why were there so many references in Nemesis to "Photon Torpedoes"? I thought that Enterprise E had been fitted for "Quantum Torpedoes." Maybe they just realized Quantum torpedoes just sounded cheezy, or did I miss something? Still, I really enjoyed it.
