dwater writes: The BBC are reporting on a very cool looking concept car that runs on hydrogen and is tagged as 'zero-emissions' (apart from water). It gets from 0-60mph in ~7 seconds, and tops out at 90mph (ie ample for all but the most German of roads). The design is based on the Morgan Aero-8 roadster. It even has wooden seats — classy.
The article mentions the current problems manufacturing hydrogen, but recent stories seem to suggest that this problem is receiving attention too, so perhaps the time is nigh for this technology to reach the consumer.
