Despite your eyes not focusing on a single point, what about those who use mouse trail in windows?? It could get a bit annoying to watch someone with mouse trails on reading a document.

Whoosh...whoosh...whoosh...mouse everywhere!

Granted, pointers wouldn't really be necessary, but it would be the worst thing ever...
