For Google to have DNS running through them, they have an even broader set of information at their fingertips. With it, they should be able to give you even better search results. The bad news is that to do this, they need to know more about you. Regardless if you feel this is OK or not, the speed and reliability of their DNS servers is paramount. She was smart, well spoken, and made solid decisions for the *long run*, not knee-jerk decisions, that are typical of CEOs of public companies. She made hard decisions that will keep HP going for a long time to come. Long-term thinking is a rare comodity in an increasingly A.D.D. world. The next time someone jumps all over a CEO on Slashdot for making rash decisions driven by "what the stock market needs this week", I hope they think back to Carly's reign at HP and see the difference.
