1) Easy: Just have a bot add "untagged" tags to everything not yet tagged. Then it's tagged, because it's tagged "untagged". I smile once again. Tagging everything as untagged is simply CRAP. OF COURSE I mean that everything should be tagged in a MEANINGFUL way. 2) Also easy: Just remove all wrong information before making your deduction. AHAHAH .. yes yes.. but have you ever seen some HUGE ontology (huge ontologies usually are the most useful ones)? Of course Removing WRONG information can done with reasoners but when getting to semantics saying what's FALSE and what's TRUE (when modeling an ontology) is not that easy and not everyone should do it. 3) Just upload them onto any p2p network. Sharing is what they are for, aren't they? This is the biggest point.. With sharing I mean OF COURSE not to search/download an ontology as you do with mp3s. I mean LINKING ontologies. This is the purpose of Semantic web (read a couple of pages about semantic web and you will know), I mean linking information (just like we link web pages today - but linking with a meaning). SO you think it's easy to link the way you see (you MODELED) your company and MINE? If you think it is, I suggest you to read some papers about the 'data integration problem', that is an OLD problem still unresolved (guess why)- maybe you could win some prize easily. 4) Well, if the software gets stuck, it still can ask a human. AAHAHA this is the funniest. Firstly because it ignores the basic problem of semantic web that is computational, secondly because I can ask today to a human so I don't see the point. Moreover reasoning with models is INTERESTING when is automatic and on a large scale. Concluding, using a small ontology to query your files and to do SIMPLE deductions doesnt require an ontology. You can use a relation DB with tags and you do the SAME. The problem of semantic web modeling languages is that, as they get more powerful they get more complex (from a computational point of view - I mean reasoning over them). Most of semantic web research is just TAILORING those languages, reducing their expressiveness finding what.... guess what? The same expressive power of a ... relational schema (===databases)!!!!!
