So, if a $30 Logitech controller is deemed inappropriate, does that mean that a $5 pushbutton on a fixed panel is not good enough?

Does that mean every item in the control electronics needs to be individually certified by some standards body, and therefore cost the same as the NASA space certified component?

Its a slippery slope - and will easily make future craft figuratively cost a billion dollars before they are launched...

Does this then apply to my powerboat?

^^^^^THIS^^^^ I haven't been in an office now for 4 years. I have been twice as productive as I used to be. My employer is clever enough to pay me for outcomes, not warming an office chair for 8 hours a day. I'm close to retirement and will never ever work in an office again.

Thank you for posting this. It saved me the work. There is a very broken mindset and understanding in anybody who believes that a CEO pays for salaries using *THEIR OWN PERSONAL MONEY*. This is literally not the case. CEOs get paid just like the rest of us. Their money is not the companies. CEO Salaries are generally set by a board or shareholder votes - It the board believes they are getting value, then the CEO will be paid accordingly. You will never find a company worth 100 Million dollars being run by a Tech Graduate on $100k.

Did JD pay to have their trademark cover 'Dog Toys'. If not, then they should not have a leg to stand on. A fundamental basis of the trademark system is identifying what class of Goods your trademark covers. Look at Nike (tm) - thie class registration covers everything from sporting goods, to clothes, to bads and drink bottles. Everything. They have even registered themselves under a class that protects virtual goods in a game. A quick look at JD suggests that none of their marks cover Dog Toys. They have tours, beer, virtual goods, but not Dog Toys. I suggest that this is the system operating as designed, and that the DogToy maker is in the clear.

Comment Too many streaming services (Score 1) 91

One of the biggest reasons why the Video Store was successful was because you could go there and choose whatever movie you wanted. You didn't have two competing video stores side by side, and have to decide which store to look at for a particular movie. Now I maintain 3 or 4 separate streaming services literally because these a$$hat content providers can't play nicely - they have all discovered that they can remove content and start up their own service, and you will have to pay that particular provider to access what you used to see on Netflix. Hopefully we will run full circle, and get to the point where one service covers all content again. Till then, it turns out that YouTube lets you buy, or rent videos. and you don't have to search through random content providers to find them.
