Microsoft is lowering limit on the number of external emails (outside of your domain) you can send from your Microsoft domain. If you truly need to bulk-send email, then use a 3rd party sender like Constant Contact or SendGrid.

I see this loss as a boon for Google. They no longer have to pay billions to Apple, Samsung, and others to be the default.
Customers will still be able to change the default to Google, which is probably likely what most folks will do.
Apple and the other recipients of Google's money seem like the ones with the most to lose.
The summary is wrong: The issuer does appear in MS Authenticator, if the QR code is properly implemented. I can see Amazon, Login.Gov, etc. listed.
I have one site that has the issue (Payrix). All of the other sites I use work and appear fine in Authenticator.
The Payrix site works in Google Authenticator but simply shows my email address as the login; I assume I'd have the same issue if I added a 2nd site with the same email.
I agree that Microsoft should make it more difficult to overwrite existing settings, but these sites have some responsibility to make sure their QR codes work correctly.
In Azure, you get a dozen reminders over several weeks when deleting a subscription before it's actually deleted.

Sabre is in the beginning of a multi-year project (in partner with Google) to migrate (offload) the mainframe to the cloud. It's a long time coming, but will be worth it in the end. There aren't a lot of TPF programmers around anymore.
