By 2030, Ford expects approximately 50% of its global volume will be hybrids, extended-range EVs and fully electric vehicles, up from 17% in 2025.

What is true is Ford's products are not good enough. Globalism is a cold mistress and Ford may be its next victim.

The invisible hand of the market in action. No reason cable companies could not have upgraded to fiber networks and/or had IPTV plus screaming fast internet. If cable has reasonable prices, decent equipment and invented in their future. It might have been a different outcome. Oh well, c'est la vie... ...

They still sell mainframes to large banks and other dinosaur financial institutions that haven't figured out how to migrate their operations to modern metal. Google IBM Z series mainframes. And they monetized open source software by buying redhat. IBM would probably be out of business decades ago if its wasn't for mainframes and redhat.
