Comment I am for this as it allows the states to choose! (Score 1) 263

The benefits really depend on where you live so it's not a so a one size doesn't fit all. Where I live even with standard time kids still end up walking to school in the dark. If it such a big issue with schools they can always change the start time like they do on days with extreme cold or snow days.

Currently with standard time in the winter I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. With year round daylight time I would get at least 30 min of sun after I get off work.

During the summer I prefer to have the extra sunlight when I am not at work rather then I am sitting at a desk at work which daylight time provides. I am able to spend more time outside get exercise and work in the yard longer. I feel the health benefits that "experts" claim of standard time is very subjective and does not apply to as many people as they think.

AI should not be used for the following:
Inflict or direct harm (physical or otherwise) on someone
Invade the privacy of someone.
Imitate the likeness of someone without their consent (likeness defined as to where it can be confused as the person in question) .
Used to generated content that is claimed to factual but is actually to the contrary. (think false information, propaganda, revenge, or the term "fake news").
Used to act as multiple individuals for the purpose to get gain (think bots to win a poll, facilitate a scam, bias a survey, social engineering an election or policy).
These would need apply to everyone (even those in the government).
