I'm surprised that nobody has noticed that this comic is a commentary on how civilization builds over time, but is unaware of how sea-level change affects it. That's all it is, other than a well executed comic. *sigh*
Sonny, we didn't have UID's when I started hanging around Slashdot. I was still installing Slackware from floppy disks hoping that disk n5 didn't have bad sectors, before compiling my own kernel and coming back a couple hours later to see if it was done. Now I work for Microsoft. Weird.
