Submission + - No more IT freelancing in Ukraine?

An anonymous reader writes: According to the new tax law (russian, google translation) that is being developed now and should take effect on 1st of January 2011, it will not be possible for a private Ukrainian entrepreneur to provide any services to foreign companies w/o becoming a full-fledged company with a dedicated bookkeeper. Currently it is possible to perform such kind of services and pay the equivalent of $25 in tax. Instead of raising the tax (which is overall welcomed by the community) the legislators made ISP, e-commerce. internet-based services along with any services provided to foreign entities as illegal activities for an individual entrepreneur. So starting from 2011 the freelancers in Ukraine will have several choices — start working illegally, stop doing freelancer work, become a full-fledged company and start working according to the magnitude of cumbersome rules for taxation or leave the country.
