I find this pretty ironic. At the Co-Op (the university's bookstore) they had PNY branded thumb drives with the UConn logo on it. Students had space allocated to them on the network. We used DC++ over the network for EVERYTHING. I was one of a few students to bring a laptop to class and actually type verbatim during lectures (my handwriting sucks). From there, some professors even asked me if I could give them a cd of their lectures so they could make fair tests and quizzes.
This is a radically misdirected article that has no real impact if you really experienced what goes on. I hope whoever came up with this goes back and gets a firsthand view of what exactly takes place
