Because some lazy ass students cheated? I have 5 out of 21 students who bombed their midterm. They complained and now my boss wants me to "find a solution" for them. When I was a student, I failed some courses and never talked to anyone, I swallowed the pill and repeated the course. Now, you have to drag failing students to the finish line
