I like it over Windows and Mac OS and all the Linux GUIs, it makes a lot of sense. Bonus points for also having the best default apps. Kate, dolphin, okular, konsole are all excellent and a joy to use. No other GUI has the same level of usefulness out of the box like KDE. Only issue i had was some minor screen glitches when they switched to wayland
Seems like a bad situation for all employees. The ones who left lost their jobs and the ones remaining will be swamped with extra work and clean up for all the AI code that gets spit out
the lack of persistent messages killed IRC. it's very inconvenient to connect to the IRC server and start with a blank chat. I know there is a roundabout way to retrieve past messages, but the average person just wants a chat client that works.
Same, I used to love cellphones and watching how they grow. Then I realized they were surveillance devices in a pretty package. I rarely use my cellphones and only use them to get the minimum amount of things done. I put a case on them that blocks the rear camera with a slider, and a tape to cover the front camera.
