Journal: Another thing I like about slashcode...

the features are so subtle and undocumented. I have been slashdotting for a bloody long time now, albeit quite passively, and have only just discovered the whole journal section. wow.
Most any non-Open chunk of code shows the flash and glitz of "featuritus".
I must say that lately I have been feeling that the quality of articles and posts has dropped. not too happy about that, and I have heard/read the same sentiment from other /.ers. I wonder if the slashdot community really has become diluted? Or is it just a phenom: When we start slashdotting we are overjoyed at finding a vast repository of diversity, geekdom etc, and over time we become disillusioned.
