Generally one feel's empathy for natural disaster victims when viewing events on CNN. I've now gotten to see things from the other side of the camera lens as me and my family experienced Hurricane Wilma first hand in our South Florida community. Looks like Hell here just not quite as bad. Things have been getting incrementally better as the power came back on yesterday afternoon after having been without power for more than 5 days. Now I have A/C problems that I'm trying to get resolved.

Been giving some thought to trying Python. I've read a lot of good things about it. Also have been having fun playing with http://www.opencroquet.org ; very cool stuff; hopefully it will take off.

I wait with baited breath for the final version of FreeBSD 5.3 to be released. I installed 5.3 Beta 6 just a few days ago and can't update it because beta 7 is now out but I guess that's a good thing.
