I appreciate locally owned websites for cities that I visit as opposed to the usually poorly made newspaper and tv sites that every metropolis has. There's one site for Grand Rapids, Michigan, GRNow.com that actually approaches user friendly and definitely beats out the big media competition.

I came across a site called Netjaxer.com not long ago that not only lists about 500 web 2.0 sites, but also allows you to launch your favorites from your desktop without having to open a browser and then type in the URL.
