Do not forget Wow64 version of the executable in %SystemRoot%\SysWOW64 directory on 64-bit systems:

New-NetFirewallRule -DisplayName "Block Regsvr32" -Program "%SystemRoot%\System32\regsvr32.exe" -Direction Outbound -Action Block
New-NetFirewallRule -DisplayName "Block Regsvr32 Wow64" -Program "%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe" -Direction Outbound -Action Block

(do try to run this from PowerShell with admin rights as well)

Nintendo Penalizing Homebrew Users? 95

An anonymous reader writes "Bricked your Wii? Not only will Nintendo charge you for the repair, they will now add an additional fee if they detect any homebrew software. 'Should Nintendo have to pay to repair hacked Wiis under warranty? Maybe not, but they have no (moral) right to gouge customers out of spite for having the HBC installed. This actually poses a technical dilemma for us with BootMii. As currently designed, BootMii looks for an SD card when you boot your Wii, and if it finds the card and the right file, it will execute that file. Otherwise, there's no way to tell it's installed.'"

Piracy and the PSP 272

In a lengthy interview with Gamasutra about the state of the Playstation brand in 2009, Sony's senior vice president of marketing, Peter Dille, made some interesting comments about how piracy has affected their popular portable console, the PSP. He said, "we're convinced that piracy has taken out a big chunk of our software sales on PSP," a platform that was slow to start anyway due to the lack of early interest from game developers. Dille mentions that while they can fight piracy with hardware upgrades in new versions, that doesn't do anything to help the roughly 50 million PSPs already out there. He goes on to address other aspects of the PlayStation line, including complaints about the pricing and exclusivity.

Buckypaper — Out of the Lab, Into the Market 125

doomsdaywire writes "Buckypaper isn't exactly news to anyone here. However, this article quotes Ben Wang, director of Florida State's High-Performance Materials Institute, saying, 'Our plan is perhaps in the next 12 months we'll begin maybe to have some commercial products.' The article continues: '"If this thing goes into production, this very well could be a very, very game-changing or revolutionary technology to the aerospace business," said Les Kramer, chief technologist for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, which is helping fund the Florida State research. ... The long-range goal is to build planes, automobiles and other things with buckypaper composites. The military also is looking at it for use in armor plating and stealth technology.'"

Indeed, Eudora is pretty much a feature complete product.
But it does still have some important features missing, like the ability to properly interpret and display ISO code pages instead of printing them with =?iso-8859-2?Q?= etc...

And another thing that is bothering me is that it's not displaying attachment sizes next to them.

Apart from those two issues I'm still a happy user of it...
