Bifocals already do that far focus up and out with near focus for the dash. They are effective. While this appears to be a single focus product--i could easily envision (lol) a future variant with a driving mode and maybe other fixed focus modes like max-near for PWB/precision work or a mid-focus for computer screen uses. Right now I have separate glasses for each, but this would be a novel product, however the cost would be massive compared to contacts+readers-of-different-capabilities.

Just use the AI to swap middleware, or to help optimize it. The thing is, once optimized, you not only need less memory/compute, you also need less AI later. A useful tool removes the need for it in the long run. Anything else is just someone selling something.

This makes sense for certain types of engineers. However, if you are are a crank-turning-code-monkey... it is a different story. However, with AI, a mediocre engineer can be more reliable and achieve more--freeing up superstars for the hard problems and providing positive feedback that those medium folks would have not gotten. Glad they are making it work. now, stop running stop signs and trying to mow down children at bus-stops.

Yeah, they do have anxiety issues. The school will also provide doctors for the diagnosis. Maybe my sample is small, but the schools I've seen are all that way.... And yeah, sheltered Betty/Bob are going to have a rougher time because they had helicopter parents and can't wipe their own noses. Been solved for decades with varying degrees of security involved--Knock Knock protocol can do this for ya. Other solutions are available too. However, VPNs are not hard. If you think they are hard, you shouldn't have anything other than an updated store bought fw/router facing the internet.

Yeah, taking everything as N's truth as the future for everyone, it sounds like a world where nothing is predictable or constant. This is all well and good for maybe software, but physical production, people, and design can't work this way. But I don't think the general public wants more than automated memes from AI. Maybe concentrate on that, because it is the killer-app for AI.

I resurrected some old iPod nanos and a shuffle. Added about $100 to my music collection and picked pile of new and old songs for each. Sounds better, has random plays, and I can keep adding. The 7th gen nano even supports BT headphones and has a lightning jack. Leave the music drama for the Internet and get back to just enjoying the music and funding the artists you like.

There was an issue with the server installer that required ps/2 mouse and KB (really just non-usb, but I digress) to complete, wonder of this is related? Seems it would be easy enough to craft an automated test on a hardware platform that could wall through an install on a few chip set revisions. It would cost just a few engineers.... Too bad they throw all that cost to the customers now.
