Hiya all, my first diary entry and first venture into slashdot membership. i hope you'll tell me if i abuse protocol. :)

anyway, i'm based in newcastle, Australia, and i'm organising a Student Media conference here. (check it at Studmedia.org) i'm wondering if any Oz slashdot crew would be interested in taking part in a workshop on collaborative websites, k5, slashdot, etc.

for me the term 'property' is enough of a pejorative to continue to use the term. the oxymoronic properties of Britney Spears "intellectual property" (i don't think she writes her songs anyway, though...) are enough to continue using the term just for the hilarity.
