Comment Re:I would say Linux.. (Score 0) 243

By experience, since late 90s, desktop linux is a pain in the ass. When I was young it was fun to workaround errors and annoyances to finally set up the desktop and kernel the way I want. Was fun and gave a "sense of accomplishment". Nowadays it is so frustrating using it(not just the kernel, desktop). Programs crash, most are difficult to setup/personalize. Constant annoyances and errors in what was supposed to be just normal user interaction. If I want to have fun I will install linux for the pleasure of doing it, messing with config files etc but for work or actually use? No way, gave up because of frustration and waste of time. Windows, on the other hand, is now beautiful, stable as fuck(I use windows since 3.1) and does the things that it is supposed to do!(idc about it phoning home). So, I use windows to work and at home, Lubuntu is my media player and linux for servers in general. The black box idea is not cool, though.

I still do use it daily on my phone and on my work pc. It just works great on PC. It also connects to shoutcast radio stations on my android(I also have mp3 files in case of connectivity issues). awesome, just works as expected, no annoying shit.
