Integrated Junk (Score 1)

Ok, I have to add my 2 cents to this issue. I work for a major pc service company and I see way too many integrated, piece of junk, off the shelf pc's these days. I thought integration was dying once people realized packard bells suck, but I was way off the mark. I actually replace motherboards with pentium 90's and 100's stuck in them because the video card, sound card, ad nauseum went bad. It is incomprehensible to me why this is done to begin with, but its only because of a simple card that it is being replaced anyway. I've also noticed that most people react negatively toward the manufacturer when I tell them that if this was a "component" system this would have taken about 3 minutes to fix. I love the look on their faces when they ask about upgrading. "You can't really upgrade this machine sir..." What grand emotion is evoked by those simple words. "I paid $3000 for this thing 3 years ago, and you tell me I can't upgrade???" No. And AOL is so simple, it turns people into idiots. Enough of my bitching...
