I'm wondering why not everybody's using slashdot as personal blog-home...

What does it lacks of?

The only thing I found is missing is the capability to customize categories. But they're quite enough for every geek. And moreover, is that so necessary? Don't you think it's better to have the reliability of /. servers other than your little home powered machine? I think so...
