Coerced into a SW project at 15 by the head of a slave driving family business in 1983, and force-fed TCP/IP in the military in the late 1980's, I've been woefully unable to score a date since I was first infected with experience in this vile domain. I spent five years focused on protocol and printer management software design for Tektronix/Xerox, investing five years growing an engineering team in Bangalore India. I ended up working for Celstream, an engineering services company based in Bangalore, for a year. Oh, and I participated in the incubation of WebCriteria's portfolio of customer experience blah blah products and services. I've taught web commerce, technology, design topics in Malaysia, Korea, India, and in the US for several Fortune 100 firms, as well as a guest for PSU and OSU's graduate programs. And some might call me an active member of the Association of Computing Machinery's CHI SIG. And yet...I still cannot get a date.
