AMEN! I'm a huge Star Trek fan, some may even call me a Trekkie (but I've never gone to a convention nor do I own pointy ears). That said I'm disgusted that anyone would try to go back and mess with Kirk. Love him or hate him Shattner "IS" James Tiberius Kirk; Nemoy "IS" Spock and you just can't replace, remake or reboot them! Leave Trek alone, let it die in peace. Or, if there is an insistence then yeah, do something in the future with new tech and new characters. Don't try remaking the old favorites. The whole thing just pisses me off.

:') That brought a tear to my eye... Reminded me of me dear ol' 486 DX2, right before we loaded it full of pyrodex and lit the fuse... Ah, fond memories are all I have of that old box. And a scrap of motherboard I was able to find about thirty meters away!

Granted, the last time I was in Salt Lake City (Utah) I enjoyed a couple of adult beverages with my bangers and mash at a pub in the downtown area. I believe I had to show an I.D. at the door (silly considering my age and mostly gray hair) but I certainly didn't have to fill out any paperwork... So why would anyone bother to visit a "private club" if the beverage of choice is available elsewhere, without the hassle of registration?
