At the beginning, why is Atteli's foil so much droopier than Marcellini's? (Sorry if I misspelled their names.)

Fencing blades naturally obtain a downward bend in them after repeated use, or from fencer preference.

In foil and epee, only a maximum 1 cm bend is allowed; in saber 3(?) cm. In foil, the bend used to be allowed up to 2 cm, but they recently reduced it to 1 cm to reduce flicking.

Since Atteli is taking a lesson, he is probably using an old blade which is already bent from repeated use, and thus way past 1 cm or even 2 cm.

I enjoyed the epee one more. Then again, I am an epeeist now. Then again, I did enjoy it a lot when I was in foil too.

Where do you get these videos? I'd love to get my hands on some epee ones. The 2000 world championships with the three bouts (with Obry, Kolobkov, and Jeannet) was incredible.

I'd love to get my hands on some epee ones.

If I could see a video like this with the top French Epeeists (Jeanette, Obry, Boisse) I'd indeed be a happy man.

However, I would be more interested in seeing the Hungarian epeeists take lessons (come to think of it, I have! When I visited MTK fencing club in Budapest 9
