Oh well..there's always...the TEAM EVENT

Whoops, fencing coverage is starting on CNBC in a few minutes!

Holy shit they showed the last half of Ivan's bout with Podzniakov!!!

We got the Tivo just in time - I was able to watch slo-mo replays of each touch in real time.

I think I'm gonna start crying, I'm so happy. I never thought this day would arrive.

I realized that the coverage of fencing was on channels I did NOT get at home. With my friends out of the county and no one really close-by, I missed it.

Argh. I don't know what to do the next time fencing is on TV. Maybe I should go to the TV sales in Sears and just watch it there.

I heard Podzniakov got beat by Lapkes 15-9!! I told my coach and he was shocked with the priceless "WTF?" look on his face. No medals for Russia this time, but there's always the team event.

I was very disappointed to learn that I missed the coverage of the individual bouts on Saturday because I was late returning from a target shooting trip that morning. Dang....

So according to one of your previous posts, the Men's team coverage is on Thursday at 2pm on MSNBC. Is that correct? If so, I will need to get a hold of a friend of mine that has cable and then leave work for a few hours, so I can try to catch the coverage.

I'll make a tape after the last event (Men's Saber team on the 19th) that will have all three events - Men's Saber Indv., Team, and Women's Saber Indv. (which will hopefully feature a US woman winning the gold).
