metasonix writes: As if the problems brought up during the recent 2014 Wikimania conference weren't enough, now Wikipedia is having an outright revolt by its editor and administrator community, especially on the German-language Wikipedia. A new Wikipediocracy blog post goes into some detail on the story. The WMF, currently awash in cash from its donors, keeps trying to force flawed new software systems onto the community, and they have repeatedly responded very negatively. This time, however, WMF Deputy Director Erik Moeller had the bright idea to create a new level of page protection to prevent the new software from being disabled. "Superprotection" has resulted in an outright revolt on German Wikipedia and subsequent coverage in the German press, plus demands that Moeller, one of Wikipedia's oldest insiders, be removed from his job. And one English Wikipedia insider started a change.org petition demanding the removal of "superprotection".

You actually have NoScript included in Opera's default installation.
Press F12 for a popup menu where you can disable plugins, javascript or java.
Right click a page for "Edit site preferences" where you can enable them agian for that site only.

Nokia's E51 and E61 are great phones and also don't have cameras. They're both bussiness-oriented phones with Symbian. E61 has a QWERTY keyboard if you're into it.

Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales has said teachers who refuse students access to the site are "bad educators". Speaking at the Online Information conference at London's Olympia, he dismissed the long-running controversy over the site's authority. He said he now thinks that students should be able to cite the online encyclopaedia in their work.

It tells a tale of a man, Gary Weiss, controlling the Wikipedia article about himself and his enemies, one of the most important things Wikipedia prohibits, all under the blessing of the Wikipedia Cabal, among them the ex-spy-turned-wikipedian Linda Mack, better known as SlimVirgin. A man who attempted to expose the affair on Wikipedia was not only immideately blocked but also had his entire IP range (which covers more then 1000 homes) permanently blocked.
