It would have also been prudent for you to make a joke about monopoly being similar to the bush family's involvment with oil and other international businesses. Furthermore, why would the Brits want to bother Margeret Thatcher. She's not in public life anymore. The last time I've even seen her on tv was for the Reagan memorial. Besides, last time i checked, the Brits don't have a problem with Thatcher. They seem to like not speaking Russian.
