Ignoring for the moment that most of Slashdot readers seem to live in the fantasy world (teleportation), but seeing how the majority of the more rational readers voted for more mass transit, but only a minority for taxation of any kind, here's the question:

How do you build more mass transit without taxation?

I know the poll is not designed to take multiple choices, but still: taxation comes first, then you build more mass transit.
