What the hell are you talking about? Open source a bad thing?!?! That means more apps and more... so much more to choose from. New and great debugging tools a bad thing!?!! What! That's like saying you love to write large webpages in notepad. Time is money mate! As an independent developer you should know that. I didn't read anything other than what I commented on above. This article was so sad. In conclusion I think this dudes blowing of steam because Google just made his book useless.
