Believe that the Bible is the Inspired Word of the Lord. I can think of the only way to prove the existence of the Lord to yourself. Do what the Apostle Peter said to do in the book of Acts, ch.2 vs38,"Repent and be Baptised every one of you, and you shall be filled with the Holy Ghost". In my organisation, when people do these steps as laid out in the Word, they receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost and the evidence is to speak in a language the user has never learnt (speaking in other Tongues). I had this experience 35y4m and 13 days ago and it has never left me as the Lord says. The Gospel is a Personal Experience and that is why few there be that find it and fewer still stick with it till the End.

To answer the statement above, it is reproducible, consensually experiential and testable. What Business is it of Science to say,"prove your God to us and then we'll believe?" The Lord says believe my Word and then you'll get what i've promised to give you. People will find out about the Power of the Lord in some time to come when they are starving because the marauding hordes will have stripped every bit of food from the land because of the worldwide destruction of everything of value that passes for affluence today. I think you are wrong Mr. AC, the "Scientists" exclude the Lord in any number of ways (google it) and the "Philosophers" exclude Him on the basis of Him not being all in all I think. What if the Universe is in a part of HEAVEN (where the Lord lives after all) and we are just Worms on this Planet who don't want anything to do with Him. That is a much more accurate scenario and so that doesn't help anyone and that is what Satan wants, NO HOPE. The Lord does offer an experience that saves us initially and can lead to supernatural (read Spiritual) Powers beyond the comprehension of man. Has anyone on this site ever heard of Humility? Are we too proud to truly know anything? Have we learnt nothing from God's inspired Word especially on this weekend? Can the human brain possibly contain all the knowledge in and about this Universe? To all of these questions, not in a Million years and we don't have that much time remaining to learn either! We can theorise and hypothesise till the Cow's come home (or the Lord returns) and we will never know much about our Universe because it is just too big and old. All we can be is Humble in accepting what the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) has to say about everything and being obedient to the Lord and then when He returns to pick us up, so to speak, we will know all things and have the ability to check it all out as the Sons of God ourselves!!

Unfortunately, most or at least the most vocal "Scientists" are never going to admit there is a God and do what he says to do. So they shall continue to deceive everybody by lying by omission except the one's called the very elect. The Lord, OTOH, says "believe me and you shall live". Not good enough for the "Worms" who live on this planet who want to know everything. At least the True Christians have the Truth and when everyone hears it they have to decide YAY or NAY. The Lord has repeatedly warned the people of the Earth that He will Judge, Jury and Execute or not Obliterate everyone when they finally get where He is and who can escape that? Only 1 group will and that is the group who are raised up to meet the Lord in the air when He returns (that selfsame very elect). An infinitely dense blob of matter in HEAVEN (after all, that is where the Lord lives) was "touched" by the Holy Ghost (the creative arm of the Lord) and there was a BB! The Lord gives abilities to all of His Sons and Daughters to be like Him. It is a Spiritual thing which is discerned by the Lord and not revealed to everyone except they come to Him in humility and do what He says in the Word.

On the subject of where did God come from I say this, why not do what He says to do and when we are all finally Saved we will know where He came from and we won't need to ask Him. That will be the ultimate revenge of the Lord over the Devil who has corrupted most things that the Lord made. Be one of the Very Elect and then one day you will join us on the way up. Now if you don't want to do that, the Lord will not help you. On the subject of the unanswerable question, The Lord can answer any question and so will anyone be able to when they are ultimately Saved. It will be an Omni-present, Omni-Scient and Omni-powerful sort of existence. The Lord will give that power to the few who shall be ultimately Saved. With regard to these not being easy questions I agree. They force each of us to face facts which are not so easy to understand. As the Lord says we see through a glass darkly. Even the Christians see very little of what the Lord has done because we can't contain it in our physical bodies.

That is why it has to be a Spiritual experience because that gives us the ability to understand. The simple answer to the whole "problem???!!!" of whether or not to get Solar installed anywhere
is whether or not you can afford it! If the FedGuv has to subsidise it that is probably not good

@iCEBaLM, If we spend money we don't have we are doing future generations a disservice by creating debt for them to payback. If we spend money we do have (increased taxes or charges) we are ripping off the populace now and the poor will have to choose between food or rent or electricity and that is not fair. It is all beside the point because the whole country owes so much in TOTAL (fed guv debt is nowhere near it at all) that we will never pay it off. So probably the best thing to do is leave us to be in peace and just get on with your life. I believe the total debt of Australia to be about $3-4 Trillion at this time. That is Fed. Guv. Debt + State Guv. Debt + Local Guv. Debt + small, medium and large Business Debt (which they use to lower their taxes) + personal debt of every man, woman and child!

At least my debt's are way below the Average per Capita. My wife has no debt at all. The problem with debts is they have to be paid back sometime and that interferes with "the business cycle". That gives rise to the ups and downs in the economy and therefore Unemployment. That is the real killer of any growing Economy, Unemployment and even UnderEmployment. It means that not every person is contributing equally. So just get on with your life and don't bother the rest of us with silly, pie in the sky notions cooked up by so-called Science and their practitioners. All this is irrelevant because in the next 10 years we are going to have such a financial meltdown and probably much earlier than that. When the USA and Europe can't pay their debts, it will look like the whole world is ending and it is going to happen. Better stock up on food while it's available in quantity. Set aside a bedroom full and you should last at least a few years on Cans of Beans and vegetables.

Science is probably wrong in this case, just as it has been wrong about many things. Greenies infiltrate many places of influence and can thus try to dupe the rest of us. We, the common people of the world, just want to be able to live in relative safety, harmony and wealth. If society made laws based on these Tenets, we would have a world or at least several countries where life would be so good they would be examples to the rest of us. Now, where are they? Are they any of the Communist based countries, I would say not. How about Europe, can't see anything there really. America? I don't think so with all the conflict there. How about Australia?

Yes I think we have it. Low debt (and scheduled to get lower eventually), reasonable wealth per capita (and could go higher), Stable land mass (very few major Earthquakes). A reasonably smart (not smarmy) population and good social security system to look after the needy. Reasonable education and health systems to look after those sections of the Economy. Now all we need is a larger population to develop the country and it would be Utopia (only kidding). What we don't need are nutcases spouting on about something the majority of us don't believe is true. We don't need the liars who want to feather their own nests at the expense of all the rest of us. So we truly are "The Lucky Country".

I do not like Centralized Guv! Generally the left side of politics spend too much on their promises and tenets and policies

I am free to answer on his behalf though, some people do take offence at certain comments

for their stupidity, Lord help us all. There might be a basket of Currencies to trade with but the Debt will remain and when the
U.S. defaults, no-one will escape. International Trade will collapse and we will all be suffering. There is not enough money in the
World to get rid of the debt's that every Country has. That will make Global Warming seem like a drop in the bucket. All the Lies,
Damn Lies and Statistics will come to be revealed as just so much Hot-Air. There will be Anarchy on the streets with roving bands
of street thugs burning everything in sight in an effort to feed themselves.

Global emissions will then crash because no-one will be using electricity, keeping the Greenies happy but making the rest of us
Very Sad. All in all you lot will need the Christians to replicate the feats of Jesus when he fed the 4,000 and again the 5,000 when
