Submission + - ASK: Why I get patents to over 90% efficient heat engines? 9
colordev writes: The Finnish patent authorities gave me a patent (FI20210007A1) for a simple (two moving parts) device that harvests energy with over 90% efficiency from small temperature differences. They did it fully aware of the Carnot’s theorem dictating a very small maximum efficiency for a heat engines operating with small temperature differences and near the room temperature. Recently, the same patent authorities (different main examiner) send me a letter, informing about their approval of the “technical usability” and “novelty” of my second patent application. In this new application the same principles are used for powering the fuel consuming vehicles and power plants; again with over 90% thermal efficiencies.
Surprisingly, the government’s patent office is the only instance willing to even take look at the invention. And that’s because they have to! My logs show that none of the ~20 physics professors, or energy companies, or car or windmill manufacturers, or green transition ministries anywhere, or those wacky climate fanatics organizations – no one is even mildly interested in taking a look at the invention.
Thus, I’ve come to realize that the climate problem isn’t real! If it was real, there would be a bounty for inventing big solutions. Now, I’m the only one offering a 300€ bounty to anyone who can show that my invention can’t achieve the green energy transition. The climate interested globalists and the communist climate fanatics are just after filling their own pockets, virtue signaling their own goodness or bankrupting the West.
Two weeks ago the West (read: the EU) promised $300 billion annually to developing countries. The UN and the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry want to spend upwards of $4 trillion a year for the next 30 years for combating climate change internationally. In this sick plot, the governments would be “taking away the risk” of the private sector investments. As I see it ladies, all this spending is and would be unnecessary.
It has come to this. I and the patent authorities seem to be unable to make this invention (“Hukkanen engine”) to not work. Please. try to make it not work! This is important, because IF the damn thing really works, the invisible hand of the free markets would then automatically take care of to entire green transition. For example, the invention could be used for obtaining almost unlimited amounts of cheap electricity from the heat stored in bodies of water. And, it would cause a three-fold increase to the current gas gallon mileage. And it would kill the wind-power industry and make the lithium-powered cars less Eco-friendly than the internal combustion engines. And...
Feel free to use all your nerd superpowers to make it to not work. The proof-of-concept device has only two moving parts. There are not many places where a thought-bug could hide. Maybe you find it?
