In fact, Klocwork provided Mozilla with full supporting defect info - including: full details of the analysis - including line #s of all defects. We also provided them with access to the Klocwork tools that allow them to manage the defects (indicate that they are defects, not defects, fix now, fix later, etc.) We have hosted the results of the analysis on our system, so that when we analyze the next build, we can do comparative analysis between builds to show new defects that have been added, and which defects were taken care of. This is provided on a complimentary basis to non-commercial open source vendors. Results of all of these projects are posted here: http://www.g2zero.com/open_source_analysis/ By definition, open source software is the repsonsibility of the entire software community. It is too bad that people use this as an opportunity to beat up Firefox/open source. This should not be interpreted to say that other commercial software vendors produce software with higher quality and fewer defects, etc. Nick - Klocwork
