That was the reason I went back twice to help them with 2 applications I worked on. Got called twice (once after 2 months and once after 4), and was asked how much I wanted to charge but because they were small jobs and because I wanted to stay in touch, I did not ask for any money. I worked a summer for this company before returning for my last year of university and I was hoping that good relations would maybe help me get the job at the end of my uni. Needless to say that after helping them I never got any email replies. Contacted them on a number of occasions to wish them a Merry Christmas/Ask how they were doing etc but never any answers.
It seems that when you are finished with a company you have to totally ignore them, otherwise you could end up feeling like a bit of an idiot.
