Comment Apples have long shelf lives (Score 1) 507

Before switching to Apple, I was going through a PC laptop every 12 months. My MacBook Pro is going on three years and I really have no need to upgrade despite the allure of the new models. It's not hard to see many older MacBook models floating around. I wonder how much of the increased shelf life is due to the increase in Apple switchers?

People might laugh at this...but this guy is probably serious. I picked me up a little cancer last year and ended up hospitalized (20 years old, at that) for a few months, figuring I'd not see a single good-looking woman for some time - I was so wrong. Seriously, just being in the hospital here you run into like 5 grade A hotties every day (when you only see like 15 people in a day that's a lot)

It's not so much the nurses, although maybe 1/8 of them were both hot and young in the wards I was in, but the techs. The x-ray techs and the MRI techs, many if not most of the high-tech workers, were hot 20-something females!
