Re:Game Tournaments (Score 1)

Shoryuken.com has had major tournaments for at LEAST the past 5 years. I still have memories of B5 (their pre-Evolution tournament, which was held in 2001.) Not to mention there's the ECC for the east coast (ECC = east coast championships), midwest tournies and much more. They just aren't on such a grand scale as Evolution. Evolution is bigger than ever this year becuase they've gone past the scope of the "usual suspects" -- these being CvS2, MvC2, ST and 3S. Now they're covering the whole gamut of recent decent arcade fighting games.
