IPv6 was a bad standard that is what you get when you get when you allow engineers to develop protocol updates without an ounce of concern for ease of migration from IPv4. Other than address scarcity there is no real reason to move to IPv6 now as it doesn't really solve any technical challenges with the modern internet like network locality and station handoffs etc.
