The electricity bill, logistics costs, and having another Taiwan to cover for may cause this idea to fail in the near future. It'll take a while to build the site too. All they're doing is kicking the can down the road instead of helping to develop the manufacturing community in the US.

Any sane business that has a chance of being linked to enabling the riots is going to burning the bridges now. It's not just the "left".

Why doesn't the right-wing setup their own cloud service, data centers, etc? Why is it only the leftist bootlickers who are this capable and wide reaching?

They probably try not to allow for this kind of non-standard cybersecurity compliance. It comes down to the end-users' workflow and if cybersecurity makes things too difficult, they may end up opening new security holes as end-users become desperate enough to engage work-arounds.

They don't typically have enough manpower to cater to every specific workflow needs of each end-user. Why not fund for each congress member to have their own cybersecurity "aide"? This aide would be certified and contribute to a centralized cybersecurity body where they share ideas and shore up concerns.

The issue with having a few IT specialists handle the workload of a several hundred end-users usually doesn't play out well.
