While I know slashdotters all like to bash on MBA types, you gotta think about it from their standpoint. A good invention is just that, a good invention, nothing more. It doesn't make any money until you get people involved who have the business know how to take this neat invention and say "Cool, now how do I make money with that." Without that insight, it's just a scientific discovery...Unfortunately there's no money in a scientific discovery by itself.
