The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California has announced they have a Solid State Heat Capacity Laser (SSHCL) that averages 67kW working in their lab. Developed for the military, Dr. Yamamoto claims this to be a record and is quoted as saying, "I know of no other solid state laser that has achieved 67kW of average output power". The potential uses for this bad boy go well beyond turning a professor's house into Jiffy Pop. Here is what a 40w laser can do, now imagine 67000 watts. Well, I just Daily WTF'd myself.
In head scratching why a high interrupt rate caused (a) corruption on the LCD and (b) something that looked like stack corruption, I decided to look at the timing diagram for interrupt acknowledge. I had come up with many bizarre (and wrong) theories about the LCD corruption (random characters, things appearing in the wrong place etc). It also all feeds back to my problems with the PIO a while ago.

Ordinary domesticated rats have been trained to go through stud walling and tortuously complex runs following their owners' tapping on the outer plasterboard and pulling with them a trace string which is then used to pull in a UTP / Telephone /Mains /antenna/ wtf cable. simplifies a complex expensive and time consuming process.
