Passwords or Biometrics or location and token (phone) based authn choices are isomorphic to the authz problem of defining group membership where the group is "household". Sure a sharable/copyable password is an impediment identifying specific group members, but a combo of identifying the device and the user showing they are a member of the group (password sharing does this) is in principle enough. But the real problem is this fizzy "household". Surely I don't stop being a member of my household while travelling? Does a visitor to my house using my TV join my household? What if the visitor is an AirBNB guest? And what happens when my duaghter moves out of home? The tracking of personal relationship and ... needed is ridiculous/deeply intrusive. The "household" concept is unworkable.
