Extortion? sure sounds like it to me, but the likelihood that anything will ever develop in a court room seems unlikely to me. It doesn't seem like SCO has much of a case, so if they keep settling out of court, they don't really have to have anything solid.
Their mistake was trying to take the big kids lunch money first (IBM).
