Come on, NAT is so widespread in China that you will not be surprised when you find you're actually four NATs away from the "Internet". The argument that NAT is a performance problem is completely bullshit in China.
For the uninformed: the number of IPv4 addresses allocated to China is less than that of, say, UC Bekerley. You can barely satisfy half the netizens in Beijing with so many addresses.

Not really. ^C works as well, without the need of remapping.
