I have found that the iPhone XR physical case to be so smooth that it will slide off of any hard, i.e. wood, metal, etc. surface. The case provides some friction so that that it does not slip off the edge of a desk. Also the phone is so slim that there is no addition to its width.

I was in in high school all we had was a punch card machine, with a printer and card reader connected to via modem to the Brooklyn College IBM 360 mainframe. So to say the least turn around was not the best. My choice in languages were FORTRAN, COBOL or RPG. I chose FORTRAN. The year after I graduated, the school received a PDP 16. :-(

The API lets developers create client applications that can pull analytics data, to mash it up with other data or to present it in new ways. The API has been available through a private beta program for about a year, and some applications are already out there: examples include Polaris on Adobe Air and Analytics for Android."

I can just see it now, the campus police, politely, this is Canada, confiscating all the 2.4 MHz cordless phones, and other such items since they use the same frequency as the WiFi network. I think the school president should worry about bigger issues, like the amount of carbon dioxide that is emitted from the oil sands in Alberta, that is a bigger threat than a WiFi mere network.
